Some people may disagree but I know I am God's favorite daughter. Why else would he plant a purple bush right where he knew I'd see it?

We have had an intern in our office this summer. He is a really great person who has certainly livened up our office. He also preaches a mean word and has a real heart for God. We get to have him for one more week and then it's back to school....The office is going to be sooooo quiet after he's gone.

On a recent trip to Jamestown (where my parents live) I did a little photo trip around some factories. Some are still vital and producing, some are reminders of what used to be. I think the buildings are beautiful no matter what their status is.

Hawaii here we come!

Every so often a group of my friends & I get together for what we call "Girls' Nite". No husbands, no kids - just girls laughing & being silly. So this past weekend we did a Hawaiian night. Here is a sample of our silliness. I am only posting one of the many pictures that were taken.

Sunflowers

During my travels back & forth for Kingdom Bound, I stumbled upon this amazing field of sunflowers. My picture does not even come close to the amount of flowers growing in this field. But strangely enough, 30 feet down the road I drove right into a bustling sub-division......

Rose of Sharon ?

This is the tree at the back of my driveway. I believe it's called a Rose of Sharon. Whatever it's called, it's very pretty
