I only took two photos today and I know they aren't the most interesting shots nor or they framed right. What I wanted to capture was the sunrise. I got a glimpse of it when I walked out of my house to go to work. It was just a little squiggly line. When I got to the corner (about 2 miles up the road) I couldn't find it. It had gotten lighter as I was driving so I figured i missed it. I went on about my business until about 15 minutes later. I looked out the window and there it was. I got my camera, went to the front door and just clicked. I know it's a photo-a-day project but I can't decide between the two of them so I am posting them both. The rest of the day was as usual - overcast and gray. But God.....,for that brief moment, gave us a gift we had only to see. Psalm 19:1 The heavens declare the glory of God; and the skies proclaim the work of his hands.
They are both beautiful. :)
