Okay, it's mid-January and winter in Western New York. There are not a lot of interesting, colorful things to photograph but I am persevering. Today while I was on an errand, I noticed the birds. It seems as tho they are traveling in packs. In unison they fly here. Then they fly over there......and on and on it goes. Who tells them they're moving? Who tells them where to go next? How do they decide who will be in front and who's in back? And if they're that smart then why didn't they go south where it's much warmer?
