Here in Western New York it is a long winter with the emphasis on the word long. Not much but gray outside most days. That is why it's very important to surround yourself with color! I have twinkle lights on my bulletin board (some people think they're Christmas lights, but you would have to take them down if they were)and I have lovely fake flowers in pots in my office. This is my fall/winter splash of color.......
